Retrieve a report file by submission ID

Request

Returns the report file of one run when that run is Available and belongs to an organization your role can access.

Purpose: Confirm that a run (for example one produced by a report schedule) is ready, and get its file_name for download.

When to use: When you have a submission ID (for example from a schedule notification) and want to check that its file is ready and get its file name.

Notes:

  • report_id is the submission (run) ID, not the report definition ID.
  • When the run does not exist, is not Available yet, or is outside your organizations, the response is 200 with an empty Result array. Poll until the array contains the file.
