Retrieve debit and credit totals

Request

Purpose

Returns the total debits, credits and net amount of a journal entry in transaction, functional and reporting currency. A balanced entry has netAmt = 0.00.

When to use

  • Check that an entry is balanced (netAmt = 0.00) and see its totals before submitting or approving.
  • Control totals for reconciliation with the source system.
