Delete a journal entry line

Request

Purpose

Deletes one line from an editable journal entry. Remember to keep each jeSetNo balanced; delete or adjust the offsetting line too.

When to use

  • Remove one incorrect line from an editable entry without re-uploading the whole entry.
  • For several changes at once, a CSV full-file update (PATCH) is usually simpler.

Notes

  • The line is identified by lineId alone. Make sure the line belongs to the entry in the path before deleting.
