Delete a journal entry

Request

Purpose

Permanently deletes a journal entry together with its lines and preview schedules. Only entries that have not been approved can be deleted, and only by a caller whose role allows it. To delete several entries at once use POST /journal-entries/bulk-delete.

When to use

  • Discard a single entry that was created by mistake or is no longer needed, before it is approved.
  • Use POST /journal-entries/bulk-delete to remove several entries in one call.
