Retrieve the validation status

Request

Purpose

Returns the progress of asynchronous line validation for a journal entry. Poll after create or update; submit when the status is Validated. When it is Error, read the lines' errorMessage values (GET /journal-entries/{jeId}/lines) and correct them.

When to use

Poll after create or update until validation finishes, then either submit (Validated) or fix the lines (Error).

Notes

For an ID that does not exist, the call returns HTTP 200 with an empty validationStatus.
